Some content should be ported over directly to the docs website with references for better accessibility.

Reopening this issue as this need more commits/updates, some updates from GSoC students is very much appreciated.

P.S. I think the contribution details are neat, nice, and full of ideas people can use to duplicate what they know and what they can learn.

These pages are now referenced by intro/contribution/how.rst, intro/contribution/git-usage.rst, and CONTRIBUTING.md.

We are now building our own container images via https://openbeagle.org/jkridner/gitlab-ce, so there is an opportunity to improve this content and also to cross-link the documentation.
