PWM firmware hangs node and host

I flashed the greybus_mikrobus.bin image followed by the pwm binary built using the pwm-wip branch from https://git.beagleboard.org/gsoc/greybus/greybus-for-zephyr. I get the following error when I start the beagleconnect gateway.
