About your project
Project name: Voice Controlled Home Automation using Alexa and Pubnub Data Stream Network
Description
In this project I would like to build own Alexa i.e., Virtual Assistant by using python programming. In this to build Alexa I would like to use Pycharm in which the Python packages will be installed. The python packages are Python Speech Recognition, Python text to Speech(pyttsx3 & Python PI Audio. By using the Speech Recognition Firstly the Authorised person's Voice is recognised and stored in the database. So when the voice command is taken by the board (the Arduino) the Arduino check that whether the command given matches to the voice in database. If the Voice Matches then it will check the list of commands in the database and apply that command like Switching ON the Lights, Fans etc.

Experience and approach
I am pursuing Electrical and Electronics Engineering. So I am good at Digital Electronics and Microprocessors. And also I am interested in learning new technologies. So I had attended many workshops on Digital Electronics and some of the electronic projects. During my College fest I had made a project on Arduino and participated on seminars. I am also good at Python Programming , Linux and MS-DOS operating systems (Basics).
What will you do if you get stuck on your project and your mentor isn’t around?
I will try to devolop the project on my own by browsing the Internet and Youtube even though the mentors are not around me.
Benefit
By implementing my project the device in my home can be operated by the authorised persons only, so that the devices in my home has some privacy. Energy can be saved .
